July 4th!

What a fun day! Channing had a BLAST on the water slide at our friends' house, and Jaxson loved the wading pool! It was a very laid back, comfortable day, and the food and friends were wonderful!

I can't believe an ENTIRE year has passed since my sweet baby boy was born, and we took the big plunge and moved away from home! Wow- it's all gone by so fast, and we still have much more adventure to come with the new move. Don't know if that's a good thing or not- but it will be once we are finally settled! Jaxson's party was wonderful. We had a golf theme party- and decorated the golf cart, had a cute golf cake (which I forgot to get a picture of!), and had some little golf games. And there was definitely swimming- it was SO HOT! Channing has been a little bit scared of the water this year- but was jumping off the diving board by that night. Jaxson LOVED his cake- and actually stuck his face right in it! He looked like the green giant! As far as what he's doing, saying, eating.... he's pretty much running everywhere he goes with his little legs and his cute belly sticking out; he says "mama", "dada", "sssss" (trying to say sissy), "dog-dog" and "toe-co" (for Coco), "bye-bye", "nananana" (for no-no); he loves to wrestle and roll around in the floor; he has become a very picky eater sticking things in his mouth and spitting them out in disgust; he sleeps from about 7:30pm to 6am almost everynight now (yipppeee) and still takes 2 naps.

The house is coming along. We are in rush/ panic mode- as it will probably not be finished by the time we HAVE to get out of this house for new tenants. We have decided we will probably have to use movers, because it will probably be hard to find people to help us move during the week. The good news- my in laws are sweet enough to keep the kids that whole week- so hopefully I can have their rooms all organized by the time they get back!
