Perfect evening under the trees

We made a big, fresh chicken salad tonight and moved the table out under our big shade tree. The birds were chirping, everyone was happy, and it was the best way to end a busy day!

I'm trying to keep my eyes focused on God so that I'm less likely to get caught up in the little things, circumstances, etc. Last night I found the app "Jesus is calling" and it gives great daily inspiration and scripture. I read one of the versus to Channing while she ate her breakfast and had her memorize it. This morning was all about Jesus being steady when everything else isn't.

So fired up because now it'll be easier to keep up!!! Here's a few pics from one of chann's t-ball games where my real camera had a dead battery :(! I gave up trying to get decent shots of her on the field, but she played great! The boys put on a show on the sidelines!

Play-dates with Luci!

Jaxson loves playing with his little girlfriend, Luci!  They are so cute!

Maddox and his Hat!

Day or night, this little guy loves to put on this fedora.  One night, I was in bed with Chann and Jax reading, and I see Maddox peeking over the top of the bed with his hat and pacifier.  I couldn't grab my camera fast enough!

Canada 2012- Part 1!

Pictures definitely CANNOT do this place justice!  Paxton earned the 2012 Round Table trip to Banff, Canada, and this place is gorgeous.  We are staying in the Fairmont, which was designed after a famous Scottish Castle.  The service is fantastic, and the rooms are nice.  On day one we went skiing at Lake Louise, day two we walked into town, ate, shopped, and then walked along the river to get back to the hotel.  We had a nice dinner that night with David Weathersby and his agency.   Day three I went to the spa and Paxton went skiing.  The massage was so good, I never wanted it to end.  Christel and I hung out in the spa for a while, and the outdoor hot tub was the best.

Maddox at 13 months!

Man, this little wild haired, gap toothed, chubby legged monkey is one of the three cutest kids I've ever loved :) .  He is walking/ running, attacking Jaxson for balloons, letting Channing drag him around like a rag doll, and still has the nick name "honey badger"!
